Science Learning about Space

What? For the past 2 weeks room 5, 6, 9, 10, 11 and 24 have been learning about the solar system. 

 So What? With Mr F we learnt about overpopulation. Mrs P taught us about how Earth has changed. Mr Hillary taught us about the water cycle. Mr R taught us about Earth's layers and Mrs Hall taught us about the solar system and what is special about each planet.

 Now What? Now I hope to learn more about space.

The eels swam along the fence and into an eel weir and the Europeans removed these so they could sail their boats. How did they cook them? A hāngi is a traditional way of maori cooking (also called earth oven) What are the different species? There are 2 different eels native to New Zealand The Shortfin Eel and The Longfin Eel How nutritious are they to eat? Eels are good for you as they contain very good vitamins and minerals.
